If you want to know more or are ready to move to the next step, its time for a consultation! My consultations take place over coffee or a phone call! Whatever works best for our schedules and where we live. This is the perfect time for us to get to know each other and make sure that I would be a perfect fit for your day! You spend most of your wedding day with me so I want to be 100% sure that my personality is what you’re looking for! This is also the perfect time for any questions you have or ideas you want to talk through!
When you’ve made the decision to choose me as your wedding photographer its so easy to make it official! Once I know I’m your girl, I’ll get the details on what package and session you want and I’ll send over a contract for you to look over. Once that is signed I ask for a $500 deposit to make it officially official then we’re all set! The rest of the payments can be split up monthly, into large chunks, or one lump sum. All I ask is that you are all paid up 2 weeks before your wedding day!
If you have opted for an engagement session (which I highly recommend) we start planning right after the contract is signed! Once I know which season you are hoping for, I’ll send over some dates for you to choose from. I do my best to offer as many weekend dates as my wedding schedule allows. We’ll brainstorm location options and I’ll send you my handy outfit guide so you don’t have to worry about what photographs well! The week of the session we’ll confirm all the details and then its time to shoot! I’ll get you a preview of 10-15 images the very next day and your full gallery within 2 weeks!
After you’ve received your engagement gallery, we hit the planning phase! During this time I’ll be available for any and all questions you may have! Need a timeline mockup? No problem! Wondering what vendors to hire? I’ve got a whole guide to help you choose! Having a hard time picking a ceremony time? Let’s talk about it! I’ve shot over 100 weddings and I would be more than happy to share all I’ve learned with you to make your wedding day as smooth as possible!
Two months before the wedding I’ll reach out to see if you have any final questions for me! One month out is when I’ll send over my wedding questionnaire to get all the last minute details like your family shot list and vendor list. I’ll use this to help construct your final photo timeline! This helps everyone (including the wedding party and family) know exactly when to be where! Once that is set, we’re wedding day ready!
I deliver a 24 hour preview for all of my weddings! This preview is usually 75-100 photos in an online gallery that tell the full story of your day. I know its so hard to wait to see all the pretty from the day before, so there’s no waiting here! I do my best to deliver the gallery before you head off for your honeymoon so no overseas charges are required ;) These photos are ready to share on social media and with your friends and family, let them share in the excitement too!
By your 1 month anniversary you'll have your full gallery ready and waiting for you! I deliver a minimum of 75 images per hour of coverage but my average gallery size for an 8 hour wedding is 850 beautiful photos! I never want my couples to feel like they're missing a part of their day so you get LOTS of images! I am happy to send a USB by request and I encourage you to PRINT your photos! I give the print release with every package or you are able to order them straight from your online gallery and they'll be shipped right to your door! Preserve those memories! Your gallery is kept online indefinitely but it never hurts to have a copy :)
I recommend 8 hours to
most of my couples!
6 hours is great for smaller weddings or weddings on non-peak days/times
10 hours is perfect for couples that have multiple locations, catholic ceremonies, or if you know your reception will go late into the evening!
I’m always happy to send over sample timelines to help you get a better idea of what you may need!
I have 2 Canon 5D Mark IVs, a Canon 5D Mark III as a back up, and a whole bunch of Canon L series lenses: 24-70mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 100mm Macro, and a 70-200mm! I have 3 flashes that I can use on my camera or around the room. I use a Pentax 645 film camera and Kodak film stock. I also bring along enough batteries to power a small city and enough memory cards to shoot 4 full wedding days
Thankfully I’ve never had this happen but I have a whole community of amazing photographers that I can call on if I am hospitalized or there is a life threatening emergency. Long story short, it will take a TON for me to not be at your wedding. I promise I take my vitamins and get a Flu shot the day they come out :)
Long story short, film is timeless! Though digital can be made to replicate film, there is truly nothing like the colors and feel that film produces! The amount I shoot per wedding depends on the couple and their wishes but I always shoot a couple rolls during details and portraits!
